Last year in June, Samsung announced the Galaxy A22 5G – A mid-range phone with Dimensity 700 SoC, triple rear cameras, and a 90Hz display. The company is now looking to bring another 5G phone in the Galaxy A22 series, which would be called the Galaxy A22e 5G, as per the Bluetooth SIG certification.
The certifications site reveals that the upcoming Galaxy A22e 5G carries the model number SC-56B. The same model number is also associated with the Galaxy A22 5G, which debuted in Japan last year. It means that the South Korean giant could launch the Japanese Galaxy A22 5G as the Galaxy A22e 5G in the global market. While we wait for Samsung to announce its arrival, let’s now look at the specifications of the Galaxy A22e 5G.

The smartphone is likely to feature a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. It might house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging speed. The Galaxy A22e 5G is unlikely to have a fingerprint scanner. It could feature connectivity options like USB Type-C port, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
