Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be company’s first 5G phone under Rs 25,000

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next M-series smartphone in India that will be called Galaxy M42. This will be the first M-series smartphone to feature 5G connectivity. Ahead of the launch, the Indian pricing of the Galaxy M42 5G has been leaked. The Industry source told IANS that it will be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000.

The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be the cheapest 5G phone from the company. As of now, the company is yet to reveal the India launch date of Galaxy M42 5G. The official teaser of the device was leaked last week which hints at an imminent launch. Speculations are that the device will launch in India this month, April 2021.

The Galaxy M42 5G is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset. The smartphone recently appeared on 3C certification with a 6,000mAh battery. It will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera and will boot Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 skin at the top.
