Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 camera details leak

The next generation Galaxy Fold is expected to launch in August 2021. Recently, we saw the leaked renders of Galaxy Z Fold3 but most of the specs are unknown yet. Today, a reliable Samsung tipster @FrontTron has shared camera the camera details which are mostly similar to its predecessor.

The tipster reveals that Galaxy Z Fold3 has a punch-hole cutout on the cover display for a 10MP Sony IMX374 with 1.22μm pixels. Unlike the previous generation Galaxy Fold, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature an under-display selfie camera for a more immersive experience. As per the tipster, the company may use a 16MP Sony IMX-x71sensor with 1μm pixels. 

On the back, Galaxy Z Fold3 may have a triple camera setup which includes a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The cameras (at least one of them) are most likely to support OIS and 4K video recording.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 is said to come with a 6.2-inch cover display, a 7.5-inch main display, Snapdragon 888 chipset, S Pen support, 4,400mAh battery, and IP rating for water & dust protection. 

Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold3 may launch in August 2021 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy S21 FE.
