Last year, Tecno unveiled Tecno Pova as the company’s budget gaming phone. And now, It is set to launch a new Pova phone called Tecno Pova 2. It will launch as a successor to Tecno Pova with better cameras, processor, and battery. As of now, the company is yet to reveal Tecno Pova 2 launch date, specs, and pricing. Ahed of the official announcement, a new leak has surfaced on the internet revealing design and full specs of the device.
Tecno Pova 2 specifications
The upcoming Pova 2 has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display appears curved at the edges and the rear body appears to have a textured stying. There’s a quad rear camera setup which highlights 48MP primary sensor.
As per the report from Droidafrica, the Tecno Pova 2 has a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85, as an upgrade from Helio G80 in Tecno Pova. The phone will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/128GB storage options, expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD slot.
The quad-camera setup on the back has a 48MP primary camera, while details about the other three sensors are currently unknown. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with a single LED flash. The smartphone packs a 7,000mAh massive battery and supports 18W fast charging. On the software front, Tecno Pova 2 runs Android-11 based HiOS 7.6 custom skin. Other notable specs include dual Nano-sim support, Micro USB 2.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The bottom portion appears to have a circular cutout for a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes in three colour options – Arctic Silver, Gloss Black, and Blue.
