Twitter Spaces now available for everyone without followers restriction
Twitter on Monday announced that the “Twitter Spaces” feature is opening to all users with at least 600 followers. Now, this new feature has been made available for all the users, without any follower restrictions. This means a Twitter user with even 0 followers can now access Twitter Spaces.
Twitter Spaces is a live audio conversation feature with other Twitter users. The host/creator of a particular Space can allow other members to listen or become a part of the audio conversation. Major platforms are implementing this feature, thanks to the growing popularity of Clubhouse.
New Features coming to Twitter Spaces
In the coming months, Twitter will announce the “Ticketed Spaces” feature in its Spaces that will allow hosts to charge a monetary fee for their Spaces. Initially, this feature will be rolled out to a limited number of users. In the future, Twitter Spaces will be loaded with features like setting reminders for Space, Time scheduling, Better live captioning, Co-hosted Spaces, and more.
