Vivo is reportedly looking to enter a new segment of products – tablets. We’ve also heard rumours about the foldable phones from the brand, but for now, the arrival of Vivo’s first tablet is looking to happen anytime soon, as the device has now appeared on China’s 3C certification site with model number PA2170.
According to the 3C listing, the Vivo tablet supports 44W fast charging. Further, the listing fails to reveal any more details about the tablet, but we already know its key specifications, thanks to the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the tipster, the Vivo tablet has a 120Hz refresh rate display with narrow bezels which houses the front camera.
The Vivo’s first tablet could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which also powers the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. It is tipped to have a 7,860mAh rated capacity battery with a typical capacity of around 8,000mAh. The tablet could cost around CNY 2,000 (~Rs 23,500) in China.
Not only Vivo, its sub-brand iQOO and another BBK group member, Oppo, are also reportedly gearing up to enter the tablet market. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the upcoming tablet from the brands soon.
