Vivo T1 Series Launch Date Set for October 19; Official Renders Leak

Vivo T1 series is now confirmed to launch in China on October 19, the company announced through a post on Weibo. Recent leaks reveal that the company will unveil two devices under the T1 series – Vivo T1 and T1x. The latter could be a cheaper version. Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has spilled the official rendering and key specifications of Vivo T1 and T1x.

The Vivo T1 will feature vertically aligned triple cameras on the back. It appears to have a flat display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the right edge, we can see the power button and volume rockers. The phone will be offered in two colours.

Vivo T1x will bring in dual rear cameras inside a relatively slim camera cutout. The punch-hole cutout from T1 has been replaced with a waterdrop notch in Vivo T1x. It has slightly thick bezels at the bottom. Vivo will bring the device in three colour options.

The tipster further reveals that the Vivo T1 will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the T1x will get Dimensity 900 SoC. Both the phones are tipped to feature LCD display with a high refresh rate, 5,000mAh battery, and 64MP primary camera. According to a recent leak, the Vivo T1 may come in three memory configurations – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB, and T1x to come in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB memory options.
