Vivo to launch its new OriginOS on November 18

Recently, Vivo unveiled that the company is working on a new operating system for mobile, based on Android and it will be called OriginOS. Today, Vivo has confirmed that it will hold a special event on November 18 in Shenzhen, China to unveil the all-new OriginOS.

There is not much known about this OriginOS but earlier reports believe that Vivo will offer two types of interfaces for the users – OriginOS and Stock Android. Users will have the option to easily switch between these two.

The previous teaser shared by Vivo shows a tagline “Brave New World” which probably hints at a completely new experience in OriginOS. All the upcoming Vivo smartphone will feature the OriginOS interface. But, it is unclear which existing Vivo smartphones will get an update for the OriginOS.

On November 19, a day after the launch of OriginOS, Vivo will hold a developer conference 2020. Details about the conference are currently a mystery, but the company is expected to announce its future plans, new apps & games, and more.
