Through a Twitter post, Vivo announced the India launch of Vivo V20 Pro. The post does not specify any particular date or month but only mentions a “Coming Soon” tag. The company has already launched the other two devices from its V20 series, which are Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 SE.
Retweeting Vivo India’s tweet, Tushar Mehta from XDA Developers claimed that the Vivo V20 Pro 5G will launch in India on December 2. It is the premium smartphone in the lineup and is expected to go on sale at a starting price of Rs 29,999. The specifications are no secret as the device has already been launched in some Southeast Asian countries.
Vivo V20 Pro 5G: specifications
The Vivo V20 Pro features a 6.44-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and a wide notch to house the 44MP + 8MP dual selfie camera. Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Around the back, the smartphone packs a triple camera setup which includes a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP mono sensor. The V20 Pro is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. The handset boots Android 11 with FunTouch OS 11 on the top. Additionally, the phone has a MicroSD card slot for more storage and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
