Vivo X60 will be the world’s first smartphone to feature Exynos 1080 SoC

Vivo is all set to announce its X60 series on December 28 in China. The company is expected to unveil Vivo X60, X60+, and X60 Pro+ at the launch. Today, the company took to Weibo to announce that Vivo X60 will be the world’s first smartphone to feature Samsung’s latest Exynos 1080 chipset.

Samsung Exynos 1080 is the company’s first 5nm chipset with an integrated 5G modem. It is an octa-core processor that consists of four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The chipset supports single camera up to 200MP and 32MP + 32MP dual camera. The neural processing unit (NPU) is more powerful which can execute 5.7 trillion operations per second.

A recent leak revealed the camera specifications of Vivo X60 and X60 Pro. Leak claims that X60 will feature a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera with F1.6 aperture, a 13MP super wide lens, and a 13MP portrait camera. The Pro model will have an additional 8MP periscope zoom lens that supports 5x optical zoom and up to 60x optical zoom.
