Vivo has launched another 5G-enabled Y-series smartphone, Vivo Y72 5G. It has been launched in Thailand as the first 5G-enabled Y-series phone outside China. Vivo Y72 5G: price, availability
The newly-launched Vivo Y72 5G has been priced at THB 9,999 (approx Rs 23,500) for the 8GB/128GB sole variant. It comes in Graphite Black and Dream Glow color options. The company will start taking pre-orders from March 25 to March 30 and the sales will be on from March 31.

The Vivo Y72 5G offers a 6.58-inch FullHD+ resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 96 percent NTSC color gamut. It is driven by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. A MicroSD slot is also there for additional storage.
The triple camera setup on the back consists of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro shooter with 4cm of focal length. The front panel has a waterdrop notch to house a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Vivo Y72 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. As for the connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Dual sim support, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Additionally, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for an additional layer of security.
