Xiaomi has added a new member to the Mi 10 series and this time it is Mi 10S. The design looks identical to the Mi 10 Ultra which was launched last year. The Mi 10S brings 108MP triple cameras, a 90Hz display, and a dual speaker setup.
Xiaomi Mi 10S: price, availability
The Xiaomi Mi 10S starts with a price tag of 3,299 Yuan (Roughly Rs 37,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs 200 Yuan more. The top-end variant of Mi 10S with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage has been priced at 3,799 Yuan (Roughly Rs 42,600).
The smartphone comes in black, blue, and white colors and is already available for pre-order in China. Customers pre-ordering the device will get a 30W wireless charger for free. The official sales for Mi 10S will kick off starting March 12.
Xiaomi Mi 10S specifications
The Mi 10S is built around a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display offers 1120nits of peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset fuels the device which is coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. One of the main highlights of Mi 10S is its sound quality. The dual speaker setup by Harman Kardon helped the device to top the DxOMark list for best speaker setup.
The quad-camera setup on the back consists of a 108MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, we have a 20MP selfie shooter located at the top-left side. The smartphone packs a 4,780mAh battery with support for 33W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
