Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to launch Mi Pad 5 series. The series is rumored to include 3 tablets – Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Lite, Mi Pad 5, and Mi Pad 5 Pro. Today, a leaked case image of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 was surfaced on Weibo. The image reveals that the tablet has a square camera module with round corners located at the top-left side of the tablet.
The tablet seems to have a pearl white color on the back and the company’s branding at the bottom. The Mi Pad 5 Lite, Mi Pad 5, and Mi Pad 5 Pro reportedly have the model numbers M210581AC, 21051182C, and M201581C. These model numbers were recently spotted on the 3C certification which revealed that M210581AC and M201581C support 67W fast charging, but only M201581C supports 5G connectivity, which could be the top-end model. The 21051182C supports 33W fast charging and is likely to be the base or Lite model.
The K81C and K81AC model numbers are rumored to feature – Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, 2K LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, and 48-megapixel primary camera. The base variant with model number 21051182C will reportedly feature either Snapdragon 860 SoC or Snapdragon 7-series SoC. It may offer a 10.95-inch LCD display. Several past reports believe that the vanilla Mi Pad 5 uses a dual-cell battery which together combines to produce a battery capacity of 8,720mAh. As of now, there are no official announcements regarding the launch date of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series. But, these are rumored to launch next month in China.
