ZTE Axon 30 5G launch date set for July 27, Key specifications revealed by TENAA

ZTE has officially confirmed the launch date of Axon 30 5G. According to the latest poster shared on Weibo, the company will announce Axon 30 5G in China on July 27. The phone will feature an under-display camera technology, better than the first generation. The Axon 30 5G is believed to carry model number A2322 which was recently spotted on 3C website with 55W fast charging. Today, we have spotted the phone in TENAA database which reveals key specifications of the phone.

The official poster reveals that ZTE Axon 30 5G comes in three colour options and a special edition with a colourful vertical stripe. It reveals that the phone has a total of four cameras on the back and a large Axon branding at the bottom.

ZTE Axon 30 5G specifications

As per the TENAA listing, the Axon 30 5G has a 6.92-inch 2460×1080 pixels OLED display. It has a quad-camera setup on the back which includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP sensor (likely ultrawide), a 5MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor. The under-display selfie camera has a 16MP resolution. Axon 30 5G is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

TENAA listing further reveals that the phone comes in 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. It boots Android 11 out of the box. The phone supports storage expansion up to 2TB via an SD card slot. Axon 30 5G packs a 4,100mAh battery and has an under-display fingerprint scanner. Last but not the least, the device measures 170.2×77.8×7.8 mm and weighs 190g.
