One UI 8.5 Beta 4 could arrive next week for Galaxy S25 users

Galaxy S25 owners testing One UI 8.5 in beta may not have to wait much longer for the next build. Tipster Tarun Vats suggests the fourth beta could go live as soon as next week. The information comes from the same source that accurately predicted the release date for the third beta.

A release window of January 19–20 would fit neatly with Samsung’s recent release pattern. The second and third beta updates each arrived exactly two weeks apart, and the second beta itself dropped two weeks after the first build. If that cadence continues, a release next week seems plausible.

Whether Samsung will expand the One UI 8.5 beta to other Galaxy devices remains uncertain. The official announcement focused on the Galaxy S25 series and left room for interpretation, but looking at previous One UI beta programs, there’s a decent chance the brand will extend access to additional devices before the stable version rolls out broadly.

As for the stable One UI 8.5 release, Samsung is unlikely to push it out before the Galaxy S26 series debuts. Current rumors suggest the Galaxy S26 lineup will be unveiled in late February, with retail availability starting around March 11.

If that timeline holds, the stable One UI 8.5 update should begin reaching the Galaxy S25 series and other recent flagships sometime in March. For other eligible devices, availability could stretch into April, depending on the rollout schedule Samsung ultimately follows.
