OnePlus Nord 2, Nord 2T: Device Overview
OnePlus Nord 2 came last year with Android 11 out of the box. This year, the company announced Nord 2T as a successor to the Nord 2 with better specifications. Obviously, the successor comes with a more recent OS version – Android 12. Both models have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup remains the same – a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Nord 2 and 2T feature a 32MP selfie snapper.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is driven by a Dimensity 1200 SoC, while the Nord 2T has Dimensity 1300 chipset. Both handsets pack a 4,500mAh battery but differ in terms of fast charging. The Nord 2 supports 65W charging, whereas the Nord 2T has support for 80W fast charging.

[Update as on August 3, 2022]: OnePlus has confirmed the list of devices that will get the Android 13 update. Thankfully, it includes OnePlus Nord 2 and Nord 2T. So, both devices are eligible for the next Android OS update. However, the company has not announced a timeline as to when the updates will start rolling out.
OnePlus announced the OxygenOS 13 on August 3, 2022. As of writing this post, the company has released beta builds for many devices, including the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9RT, and OnePlus 8 Pro. Hopefully, the OnePlus Nord 2 and Nord 2T users will get a chance to taste Android 13 through the beta program in the coming months.
