OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord 2 Get January 2024 Security Update

OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord 2 users in India are getting the January 2024 security patch with the latest software update. Along with a new security patch, the updates also bring several improvements. Sadly, one beloved feature is getting away, which is the Smart Sidebar.

The latest OxygenOS 14.0.0.201 update for the OnePlus Nord 3 is currently rolling out in India. It is tagged with the firmware version CPH2491_14.0.0.201(EX01). OnePlus should expand its availability to more and more countries in the coming days.

With the latest OxygenOS update, the OnePlus Nord 3 is getting upgraded to January 2024 security patch. OnePlus has improved the system stability and performance; the battery life also gets better. The update also fixes the white screen issue when opening the Theme Store.

After updating your OnePlus Nord 3 to OxygenOS 14.0.0.201, you can no longer use the Smart Sidebar feature, as it’s getting removed from all OnePlus phones.

The changelog for Nord 2’s latest update reveals that the device is getting the January 2024 security patch. And it removes the Smart Sidebar feature.
