Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is finally receiving the One UI 4.1 update based on Android 12. The One UI 4.1 update was recently rolled out to the Galaxy XCover 5 and now the Galaxy A32 5G has also joined the party. It is the first major Android OS update for the A32 5G as the device was launched last year with Android 11. The latest software update comes with the firmware version A326U1UEU7BVE4.
As of now, the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy A32 5G is rolling out in the United States. In the coming weeks, it will expand to more regions. The new OTA update also includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. Though it’s an older security patch, the device will get better security and data privacy.
Samsung Galaxy A32 5G One UI 4.1 (Android 12) update features
One UI 4.1 is Samsung’s latest custom skin which is based on Android 12. It adds an additional set of features and improvements over the Android 12 core features. The software update brings the Material You-inspired Color Palette that changes the colors of the elements based on the colors in the wallpaper. Samsung Keyboard has been improved and integrated with Grammarly keyboard to offer a grammatical-error-free writing experience.
Another major change has been brought forth in the privacy department. With Android 12 installed on your phone, you’ll see an icon for a microphone, camera, and location whenever any of these are being accessed. The update brings improved lock screen widgets, improved dark mode, and new features to Bixby and Bixby Routines apps.
Samsung Galaxy A32 5G users in the US have started picking up the Android 12 update. If you also have one and belong to the same region, navigate to Settings >> Software updates and tap on Download and install to update your phone.
