Oppo finally launches the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G smartphones in China with a stunning design and a good set of specifications. There is also a Reno5 Pro+ 5G in the lineup which will be unveiled on December 24. Let’s now look at the price and specifications of Reno5 and Reno5 Pro.

Oppo Reno5 series: price, availability
The vanilla Reno5 5G has been priced at 2,699 yuan (~Rs 30,400/$413) for the 8GB/128GB variant whereas the 12GB/256GB is priced at 2,999 yuan (~Rs 33,800/$459). Coming to the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G, it comes with a price tag of 3,399 (~Rs 38,300/$520) for the 8GB/128GB and 3,799 yuan (~R 42,800/$580) for the 12GB/256GB variant.
The smartphones are available for pre-order and the sales will kick off starting December 18. The Reno5 Pro 5G will have a special New Year Edition that will go on sale on December 29.

Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G: specifications
The Reno5 Pro has a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The device has 750 nits of maximum brightness and a punch-hole cutout for the 32MP selfie camera.
Around the back, we have a quad-camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary shooter with EIS image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth vision camera. Under the hood, Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
The Reno5 Pro boots Android 11 out of the box. It packs a 4,350mAh battery and supports 65W fast wired charging. Other notable specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port and there is no audio jack.

The vanilla Reno5 5G has a 6.43-inch flat OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 410 PPI pixel density, and a peak brightness of 750 nits. Unlike the Pro model, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset.
The rear cameras have the same configuration as the Pro model, but the 32MP selfie camera has a slightly lower field of view. It packs a slightly lesser 4,300mAh capacity battery, but the fast charging support remains at up to 65W.
The phone boots Android 11 with Color OS 11 on the top. Like the Pro model, it also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth v5.1 support, and a USB Type-C port. But, it also has an audio jack which is missing in the Reno5 Pro.
