OPPO unveiled Reno 3A with 48MP quad cameras in Japan : price, specifications

OPPO has added a new smartphone in the Reno 3 series with the new Reno 3A. It is launched in Japan with the most of the specs similar to the OPPO A9 2020 launched last year. Other phones in the Reno-3 series includes Reno 3, Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 Vitality. Coming back to Reno 3A, it features Snapdragon 665 SoC, 48MP quad cameras and a 4025mAh battery. Reno 3A comes in a single variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at the price of JPY 39,800 (roughly Rs 28,200). It will go on sale on June 25 in Black and White color options.

The OPPO Reno 3A sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution and 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There is a microSD slot for additional storage up to 256GB. The handset runs colorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.

In optics, the phone features quad camera setup on rear side which includes a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and two 2MP cameras. The front side gets a 16MP selfie shooter with F2.0 aperture. The phone packs 4025mAh battery and supports Quick Charge technology. Connectivity features are – Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C port.
