Poco M2 Pro, M2 Reloaded MIUI 13 update

Poco M2 and M2 Pro were announced in mid-2020 with Android 10-based MIUI 12 skin at the top. After a year, the brand announced Poco M2 Reloaded, and it also came with Android 10 in the year 2021. All the devices have already bagged the Android 11 update and users are now waiting for MIUI 13 and Android 12 updates to arrive on their Poco M2, Poco M2 Pro, or Poco M2 Reloaded.

Poco M2 Reloaded is nothing but the Poco M2. The only difference is that the Reloaded version comes with a 4GB RAM option, while the Poco M2 doesn’t. It means that the software support for both devices should not be different. In this article, we’re keeping a track of the MIUI 13 update for the Poco M2, M2 Pro, and M2 Reloaded.

Poco M2, M2 Pro, M2 Reloaded MIUI 13 Update Tracker:

[Update: December 7, 2021] Poco M2 users in India have started receiving the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update. It comes with the software version V12.5.3.0.RJRINXM. The update brings new features such as Atomized Memory, Focused Algorithm, Smart Balance, and Liquid Storage.

[Update: January 28, 2022] While the company is silent about the MIUI 13 arrival on Poco M2 series phones, a report from Xiaomiui suggests that the company has started Android 12 internal beta testing for the Poco M2. Hopefully, public beta testing will kick off in the upcoming months. 

[Update: February 3, 2022] Xiaomi released a list of devices that will receive the MIUI 13 update in Q1 2022. Sadly, Poco M2, M2 Pro, and M2 Reloaded are not on that list. It seems that the devices might take longer to receive the latest MIUI skin.

[Update: February 28, 2022] Poco M2 users in India are getting the January 2022 security patch. The latest OTA update comes with the firmware version V12.5.5.0.RJRINXM.

[Update: April 15, 2022] Xiaomi is rolling out the April 2022 security update to the Poco M2. It is rolling out in India with the firmware version V12.5.6.0.RJRINXM. The update is based on Android 11.

[Update: May 13, 2022] Poco M2 Pro has now started getting the April 2022 security patch update in India. It is tagged as V12.5.6.0.RJPINXM. Still no sign of MIUI 13 and Android 12.

[Update: August 3, 2022] The July 2022 security update is now rolling out to the Poco M2 users in India. The update is based on Android 11 and has the firmware version V12.5.7.0.RJRINXM.
