QuickStar 10.0.01.3 update brings back a feature removed during One UI 8.5 beta testing

Samsung QuickStar update

Samsung has quietly rolled out a new update for QuickStar, one of its popular Good Lock modules, and it’s restoring a feature that went missing during One UI 8.5 beta testing.

Version 10.0.01.3 of QuickStar brings back the ability to customize Quick Panel button spacing on One UI 8.5. If you like a more compact layout, you can squeeze up to eight buttons into a single row. Prefer breathing room? You can go all the way down to one button per row. It’s a small but genuinely useful tweak for anyone who spends time fine-tuning their Quick Panel setup.

The feature isn’t new, QuickStar has offered it for a while. But Samsung pulled it during the early stages of One UI 8.5 beta testing. At the time, the company confirmed it would return in the stable release. Now that the Galaxy S26 series has launched with One UI 8.5 out of the box, Samsung has followed through on that promise. The update also applies to Galaxy S25 users currently on the One UI 8.5 beta.

Alongside the feature restoration, Samsung mentions stability improvements and bug fixes in the release notes. Nothing dramatic, but the kind of under-the-hood polish that keeps things running smoothly. You can grab version 10.0.01.3 through Good Lock directly or from the Galaxy Store.

There’s also a separate update for the Good Lock app itself. Version 3.0.15.0 is rolling out with its own round of bug fixes and stability improvements. To check for it, open Good Lock and tap the gear icon in the top right corner, or head to the Galaxy Store.
