Obviously, it’s a great achievement for the brand. But what is driving people so crazy about the Realme GT 5 Pro? Let’s look at more details about the device.

Realme GT 5 Pro: What’s So Special About It?

According to Realme’s China CMO, the Realme GT 5 Pro has an exceptional price-to-performance ratio. It uses Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset that puts it a competitor to the Xiaomi 14 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, and OnePlus 12.

Realme GT 5 Pro is the company’s first smartphone to support wireless charging of 50W. It has a premium design and finish with an aluminium alloy frame. Realme has equipped the device with a giant camera setup on the rear side. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor (same as in the OnePlus 12) with OIS support. It’s paired with another 50MP sensor (Sony IMX890) with 3x optical and 120x hybrid zoom, and lastly, an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor for ultra-wide shots.

On the front side, it is equipped with a 32MP snapper. Overall, the smartphone has an impressive camera setup, and Qualcomm’s latest chipset ensures the performance. But what about other areas, such as display and battery? Well, the Realme GT 5 Pro shops with a 6.78-inch LTPO screen (curved on sides) featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz superfast touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500nits for better outdoor visibility.

The Realme smartphone packs a massive 5,400mAh battery, which you don’t usually see in flagships. They are typically limited at 5,000mAh. Hence, the GT 5 Pro gives you more screen-on time. Further, it supports 100W fast wired charging to quickly fill up the battery.

So, the Realme GT 5 Pro has a pretty powerful set of hardware. And, this package starts at roughly $479 makes it a sweet deal to grab. The device has been released in China for now. Hopefully, it will be available in more regions soon. Though, you can grab the device for $599 via Giztop.
