Realme Android 13 (Realme UI 4.0) Update: Eligible Devices List, Roll Out Tracker, and More
Realme has improved its software rollout speed in the last couple of months. The company is still sending out the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 update to those devices that are still in the queue. However, since, Google has already released the first beta update of Android 13, popular smartphone companies are jumping on the same boat to release an early build of Android 13 via the developer preview program to some of their devices. Realme is one of them.
After releasing two Developer Preview build which remained restricted to Pixel phones, Google announced the Android 13 Beta 1 in April, followed by Android 13 Beta 2 in early May 2022. Like every year, Realme was one of the very first smartphone brands to release the Android 13 Beta 1. And it’s none other than the company’s most premium phone, Realme GT 2 Pro, getting a very early taste of Android 13. It was released as a part of the Developer Preview program by Realme.
The Android 12 update for Realme phones comes with the Realme UI 3.0 skin. It implies that the Realme UI 4.0 skin will be paired with the Android 13. In this blog, we’ll continue to add the latest developments around Android 13 and Realme UI 4.0 for Realme phones.

Realme Android 13 (Realme UI 4.0) Release Date
According to the official roadmap, Google might release at least two more beta updates of Android 13 until July. The company has aimed to reach platform stability by June. Google is right on the track and if things go as planned, the stable version of Android 13 should be released around August 2022.
After Google releases the stable version of the latest software, smartphone companies take a couple of weeks to polish their custom skin. Last year, Realme unveiled the Realme UI 3.0 globally in October. And we can expect a similar timeline for the Realme UI 4.0 which will be based on Android 13. The rollout should begin sometime in November 2022.

[Update: May 11, 2022] Realme has announced Android 13 Beta 1 for the Realme GT 2 Pro through the Developer Preview Beta program. Unlike stable software updates, the beta builds (especially the Developer Preview builds) generally contain lots of bugs. Also, the software does not pack Realme UI-specific features. Realme is only recommending developers to test the beta builds as it can cause many problems to your device.
