Redmi 9i has been launched in India as a new entrance to the Redmi 9 series. The series already includes Redmi 9, Redmi9A, and Redmi 9 Prime. The Redmi 9i price starts from Rs 8,299 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, whereas the 4GB + 128GB variant will cost you Rs 9,299. It comes in Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green color options. The device will go on sale from September 18 at 12 PM through Flipkart, Mi.com, and offline stores.
Redmi 9i specifications
The Redmi 9i has a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 270 nits maximum brightness. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot to expand the storage upto 512GB.
As for the camera, the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with F2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calling, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset runs Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 on the top. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 10W fast charging. Other features include – 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a microUSB port.
