Samsung has been pretty impressive in terms of rolling out software updates. The company continues to release new updates even for some four-year-old phones like Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy J7 (2017). Like what we’ve seen in the past, Samsung has again become the first Android smartphone brand to release the April 2022 security patch. And, it’s none other than the 2022’s flagship Galaxy S22 getting the latest security update.
The April 2022 security patch will subsequently be released for more Galaxy phones as we progress the month. In this post, we’ll keep a track of the April 2022 security patch update released by Samsung.

Samsung has released a new software update for Galaxy S21 FE 5G users in the UAE. It mainly installs the April 2022 security patch to improve system security and privacy. The update comes with the One UI build version G990EXXS2CVC8.
The April 2022 security update for Galaxy A52s 5G is now available in the UAE. The latest security patch fixes 88 vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy.

The April 2022 security patch is now being rolled out to the Galaxy A71 users in Europe. The update is tagged as A715FXXU8CVD1.
Samsung has also released the April security patch for Galaxy A51 users in India and Brazil. The update arrives with the firmware version A515FXXU5FVD2. In addition to vulnerabilities fixes, the latest OTA update also updates 9 stock apps.

Galaxy Note 10 Lite users in Europe are receiving a new software update. It mainly brings the April 2022 security patch to enhance system security and privacy. The update might also include device stability improvements.
The April 2022 security update for Galaxy Note 20 users is now rolling out in Asian markets. It will initially rolled out for Malaysian users and now reaching more regions. The latest OTA update comes with the firmware version N981BXXS3FVC8 and N986BXXS3FVC8 for Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, respectively.

After Europe, the April 2022 security patch for Galaxy A13 5G has been released for the users in the US. The update fixes dozens of vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. It comes with the firmware version A136U1UES1AVD2.

The April 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy A71 is now rolling out in the UAE. It comes with the firmware version A716BXXU6DVD5. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (LTE) users in Europe are also receiving the April security patch.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is is also receiving a new update in the US that brings the April 2022 security patch. It comes with the One UI build version F916U1UES2GVC8.
The April 2022 security patch is now available for Galaxy S20 FE 5G users in Europe. It carries the firmware versions G981BXXSDFVC9, G986BXXSDFVC9, and G988BXXSDFVC9 for Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, respectively.
Samsung has released the April 2022 security update for Galaxy Note 10 users in Malaysia and the US. It fixes 88 vulnerabilities from Samsung and Google to improve system security and privacy. The latest OTA update has been released for both unlocked and carrier-locked variants in the US.

Galaxy Z Flip 5G is the company’s latets smartphone to get the April 2022 security patch update. Currently, it is rolling out in Europe and should not take too long to cover more regions.
The April security update for Galaxy S10 series is now available in Germany. It is rolling out with firmware versions G973FXXSEHVD1, G970FXXSEHVD1, and G975FXXSEHVD1 for Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+.

Galaxy S20 FE 5G users in Europe have started receiving the April 2022 security patch update. It comes with the firmware version G781BXXU4FVC4. The update is currently available in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, and the UK.
Galaxy S21 series users on the T-Mobile’s carrier in the US are now receiving the April security patch. It can be identified by firmware versions G991USQU5CVCG, G996USQU5CVCG, G998USQU5CVCG, for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ are now getting the April 2022 security patch update. For now, it is rolling out in Switzerland with the firmware version G97xFXXSEHVD1. The update should hit more regions in the coming weeks.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has also joined the April 2022 security update party. The latest software update is currently available in Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. It can be identified by the firmware version G780GXXS3CVC4.
Samsung is on a roll today. The company has now released the April security update for Galaxy Tab S8 series. It is currently rolling out in South Korean with One UI build version X706NKOU1AVD1, X806NKOU1AVD1, and X906NKOU1AVD1 for Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra.

The April 2022 security update is now available for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in the US. The latest OTA update is rolling out to the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 3 with firmware version F711U1TBS2CVC9, while the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in the US are receving it as F926U1UES1CVC9. The April security patch also includes a fix for ‘Dirty Pipe’ vulnerabilities to protect the device device from hackers.
Not just the latest Galaxy foldable phones, the Galaxy A53 5G midranger is also picking up the April 2022 security patch . The update is rolling out in South Korean and India with firmware versions A536NKSU1AVCC and A536EXXU1AVCD, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy A13 picks up the April 2022 security patch with the latest update. It is tagged as A135FXXU1AVD1. The update is rolling out in several European markets including Poland, France, Italy, Ireland, and United Kingdom.

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users in the US have now started receiving the April 2022 security patch update. Currently, it is available on Comcast’s network with the firmware version G99xUSQS5CVCB. Hopefully, it will expand to more carriers in the coming days.

The April security patch for Samsung Galaxy S21 series is now available in the US. It is currently rolling out on US’s carriers such as AT&T and Xfinity Mobile. More US carriers will roll out the April update in the coming days. The update is tagged as G996U1UES5CVCB.
Galaxy S21 FE users in the US have also started getting the April 2022 security patch. The update comes with the firmware version G990USQS3CVC4. It is currently rolling out on Comcast’s network.

Samsung has now released the April 2022 security patch update for Galaxy S21 series. For now, it is rolling out in Germany and should not a long to expand to more regions. The update is rolling out with firmware version G99xxXXS4CVCG.
The Galaxy A33 has started picking up its first software update that brings the April 2022 security patch. It can be identified by the firmware version A336MUBU1AVC9.

The April 2022 security update for Galaxy S22 series is now expanding in European countries such as Germany. European users are also getting updates to 13 stock apps, in addition to the vulnerabilities fixes included in April 2022 security patch. The update is rolling out with the build versions as follows:

Samsung Galaxy S22 series has started picking up the April 2022 security patch update. For now, it is rolling out in South Korea and should expand to more regions in the coming days. The update also brings support for close focus on UHD 30/60 video recording, performance optimizations low memory conditions, and improvements to View Cover usability by swiping the clock to the right to open the list of notifications.
The April update also updates 13 stock apps such as Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Kids, Calculator, Smart Switch, Samsung Pay and more.
