Samsung is doing a phenomenal job when it comes to rolling out software updates. Be it a major Android upgrade or monthly security patch rollout, the South Korean firm is killing it with the rollout speed.

In the last couple of months, Samsung has created its tradition of releasing the latest security patch before other OEMs and even before the month begins. And, it was again the first brand to roll out the February 2022 security patch update which started in the last week of January.

Samsung has already started pushing the February 2022 security update, which started with Galaxy Note 20 series. And, the company will continue to release it for more devices throughout the month. [Feb 3, 2022]: Galaxy A51 is the latest member of Samsung’s February 2022 security update list. The February update for Galaxy A51 is tagged as A515FXXS5EVA1. The security patch includes fixes for various system security and privacy-related vulnerabilities.

[Feb 2, 2022]: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series users in the US have now started receiving the February 2022 security patch update. The update is currently available on Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10 Ultra on Verizon. Soon, it will be available on other US carriers.

Galaxy Note 10 Ultra – N975USQS7GVA1

[Jan 31, 2022]: Samsung Galaxy S20 series starts picking up the February 2022 security patch update. The LTE variants are receiving the update with the firmware version G98xFXXUDEVA9, while the 5G variants are receiving it as G98xBXXUDEVA9. The update is currently available in the UK and should reach more regions in the coming days.

Not only the Galaxy S20 series, but the mid-range Galaxy A50s has also started receiving the February 2022 security patch update. For now, it is rolling out in Vietnam with the firmware version A507FNXXU6DVA2, and the company usually do not take too long to start rolling out in more counties. 

[Jan 28, 2022]: Samsung is already in February 2022, as the company has just started rolling out the February 2022 security patch update, which started with the Galaxy Note 20 series. So, again, Samsung becomes the first brand to release the latest security patch.
