These Samsung devices are receiving the February 2026 security update

Samsung’s focus recently has been the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is happening tomorrow, and hence a delay in the February 2026 security patch rollout. The update began rolling out yesterday, starting with Galaxy S25 series, and it quickly expanded to over a dozen Galaxy devices.

Here’s a list of Samsung devices that are now receiving the February 2026 security update:

  • Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra
  • Galaxy S25 Edge, S25 FE
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy Z TriFold
  • Galaxy Z Fold SE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7
  • Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6

As with all Samsung updates, this security patch is rolling out in batches, which means it may take a few days to reach all devices in all regions. If you don’t see the update notification immediately, it should arrive automatically within the coming days. You can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your device.

The February 2026 security patch addresses a total of 37 vulnerabilities, with 25 fixes coming from Google for the Android operating system and 12 developed specifically by Samsung. The patches apply broadly to devices running Android 13 through Android 16, ensuring wide coverage across Samsung’s portfolio.

Samsung’s specific fixes target vulnerabilities in several key areas including Emergency Sharing, Knox Guard Manager, the Samsung Dialer app, the Settings application, facial and fingerprint authentication systems, and the company’s PACM module. These repairs strengthen critical security features that protect user data and device integrity.

This timely security update ensures these flagship devices remain protected as Samsung shifts its focus to tomorrow’s Galaxy S26 series launch. Once the new flagships are officially introduced, we expect an even more speedy rollout for the latest security patch.
