Samsung has finally released the much-awaited One UI 4.1 update based on Android 12 for the Galaxy XCover 5. It’s the company’s first rugged smartphone to receive the latest One UI update. The Android 12 update for Galaxy XCover 5 comes can be identified by the firmware version G525FXXU5BVE5.
As reported by Sammobile, the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is currently rolling out in various European countries. Hopefully, it will cover more regions in the coming weeks. In addition to the goodies from Android 12 and One UI 4.1, the latest software update includes the May 2022 security patch. It fixes dozens of vulnerabilties to enhance the system security and privacy.

The Galaxy XCover 5 users have a lot of exiciting things to look forward to in Android 12. The Material You-based Color Palette feature is a complete joy as you can change the colour on all elements just by changing a wallpaper. The built-in Gallery app now has the option to add portrait effects to any image with a person in it. You can also remove locations from photos and video before sending them to others.
Samsung has improved the RAM Plus feature, which now allows you to specify the amount of free storage you want to use as a virtual RAM. The software updates also brings a new version of stock apps. The Samsung Keyboard is now integrated with Grammarly. The new update also brings Privacy Dashboard, improved Dark Mode, new lock screen widgets, and more.
