Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, along with their predecessors, are now picking up the March 2026 security update in the United States. The rollout follows a similar push in South Korea a few days ago and is currently limited to carrier-locked units.

Here are the firmware versions for each device:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 7: F966USQS8AZC1
  • Galaxy Z Flip 7: F766USQS8AZC3
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6: F956USQS3CZC1
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6: F741USQS3CZC1

The March 2026 security patch bundles 67 fixes in total, with 60 coming from Google and the remaining seven being One UI-specific. Among those, eight address critical vulnerabilities. Several others cover high-risk flaws, including issues that could have allowed remote access to a device and bugs affecting core system services. Secure Folder and the Settings app also had security holes that this update closes.

To check for the update on your device, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Beyond security, the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are currently part of Samsung’s One UI 8.5 beta program, which brings a redesigned UI and several new features. The stable release is expected within the next few weeks, and the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 may follow shortly after that.
