Huawei patents a foldable smartphone similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2

Huawei is not new when it comes to launching foldable smartphones as the company has previously launched Mate X and Mate Xs. Now, a new patent suggests that Huawei is working on another foldable smartphone which looks similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Have a look at the images below.

The cover display features a dual punch-hole cutout and a large screen-to-body ratio. The main display does not have a cutout or notch for the cameras. On the rear side, we can see a rectangular shaped camera module much similar to the Mate 40+. Cameras sensor details are currently unknown but the setup includes a periscope lens. The hinge looks much similar to what Samsung offers in its foldable smartphones.

One more important thing to note that, as we move from left to right side, the smartphone gets more and more thinner. If Huawei brings this foldable smartphone in the market then it will be a good competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
