Samsung hosted the second Galaxy Unpacked event to launch the Galaxy S20 FE with some specs quite similar to the Galaxy S20. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: price, sale details
For the US markets, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (5G variant) price is set to $699 (roughly Rs 51,600) for the 128GB storage. In the UK, the 4G variant with 128GB storage costs £599 (~Rs 56,200) while the 5G variant will be available for £699 (~Rs 65,600) for 128GB storage.
In Germany, the 4G variant of S20 FE will be offered in 128GB and 256GB storage priced at €633 (~Rs 54,300) and €719 (~Rs 61,700) respectively. The 5G variant with 128GB storage space is priced for €730 (~Rs 62,600). It is available for pre-order through samsung.com and sales will start on October 2.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: specifications
The Galaxy S20 FE sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 4G variant is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 990 SoC while the 5G variant uses Snapdragon 865. The handset comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage option. You can expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a 32MP front-facing camera. On the back, it has a triple camera setup which includes a 12MP primary camera with Dual Pixel AF and OIS, next one is a 12MP ultrawide camera with 123-degree FOV, the third one is an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and up to 30x space zoom.
A 4,500mAh fuels the device and supports 25W wired charging but the retail box comes with a 15W charger. It also supports wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The handset comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Other notable features include – Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6. You get the option to choose from 6 different colors – Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, and Cloud White.
