Samsung’s March 2026 security update for the Galaxy S25 series is going global. After kicking off the rollout in South Korea last week, Samsung has now started pushing the same update to Europe.

The update covers the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, arriving with firmware versions ending with BZC1. The update has a download size of about 568MB, as spotted by Tarun Vats. The March 2026 security patch for Galaxy devices includes fixes for 65 security vulnerabilities in total.

  • Galaxy S25+: S936BXXS8BZC1
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra: S938BXXS8BZC1

To check if the update has reached your region, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung’s regional rollouts can sometimes take a few days to reach all countries within Europe, so if you don’t see it yet, it should show up soon.

Meanwhile, the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series is still running. Samsung has been steadily working through beta builds of the Android 16 QPR2-based update, and the stable release is expected to land soon. Once that rolls out, Galaxy S25 users will have both the latest security patch and a major software upgrade in hand.

We’ll keep you updated as the March 2026 security patch continues its global rollout.
