These Samsung devices have received February 2026 security update

Samsung got off to a late start with the February 2026 security patch, but the rollout has picked up speed quickly. After kicking things off with the Galaxy S25 series in the final week of February, the update has since expanded to a solid range of Galaxy phones and tablets.

The delay isn’t too surprising. Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series this month, which likely pulled a lot of its software team’s attention. Now that the launch dust has settled, the February patch is making its way across the lineup. Here’s a list of Samsung devices currently receiving it.

Don’t expect any new features with this one. Like all security patches, the February update is focused entirely on fixing vulnerabilities. It patches 37 in total, with 25 coming from Google and the remaining 12 being Samsung-specific fixes. Those Samsung patches cover some fairly important areas, including Emergency Sharing, Knox Guard Manager, Samsung Dialer, the Settings app, facial and fingerprint authentication, and the PACM module.

The list above will likely grow over the coming days and weeks as Samsung pushes the update to more devices. If your phone is on the list but you haven’t received anything yet, that’s normal. Samsung stages these rollouts gradually, so it can take a few days. You can speed things up by heading to Settings > Software updates > Download and install to check manually.

One more thing worth keeping an eye on: Samsung is working on bringing the One UI 8.5 update to older Galaxy devices. The update debuted with the Galaxy S26 series, and while there’s no confirmed rollout date yet, it could start arriving for eligible devices later this month. We’ll keep you updated as that rolls out.
