These Samsung phones will get One UI 8 beta update next month

Samsung is moving fast with the One UI 8 rollout. After giving the Galaxy S25 series a head start, the company recently expanded the beta to the Galaxy S24 lineup and its last-gen foldables — the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The company has confirmed that several mid-range and premium Galaxy devices will receive the One UI 8 beta update in September. So, if you didn’t make the cut in the initial wave, here’s your chance to hop on board.

Beta warnings: What you need to know

Joining a beta program comes with its fair share of risks. Since the software is still in development, expect bugs, broken features, and system hiccups. That’s why it’s recommended to install such builds on a secondary device if possible.

Make sure to:

  • Back up your data completely.
  • Have at least 30% battery and enough storage.
  • Understand that going back to a stable version may require a factory reset.

Stay tuned, as we’ll keep you updated on the exact rollout dates and country-wise availability once Samsung makes them official. If you own one of the above devices and live in a supported country, you’re in for an exciting software upgrade next month.
