Although Samsung has already started pushing July 2022 security patch, there are some devices still waiting to get the June security patch. Among them was the US unit of Galaxy Note 10 which has now started getting the June 2022 security patch with the latest software update.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series consists of Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G. All of them are now receiving the June 2022 security patch in the United States. The update is rolling out on the Verizon carrier. You can identify the latest OTA update by the following firmware version:

  • Galaxy Note 10: N970USQU7HVF1
  • Galaxy Note 10 Plus: N975USQU7HVF1
  • Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G: N976USQU7HVF1

The latest software update for the Galaxy Note 10 series mainly brings the June 2022 security patch. It fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to protect user data and improve security and privacy. The devices are also getting performance improvements.

If you are a Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, or Galaxy Note 10+ 5G user on the Verizon carrier, navigate to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install option to update your phone.

Will Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G get Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update?

The Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G are premium phones which were released in 2019. The smartphones came with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Thanks to impressive software support from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 10 series phones have already picked up three major Android OS updates. As a result, the devices are now running on Android 12-based One UI 4.1.

According to Samsung’s software update policy, the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G are not eligible for the Android 13 update. The devices were promised three major Android OS updates, which have already been released. However, Samsung will roll out the One UI 4.1.1 update soon to these phones.
