Vivo X70 series is expected to go official in September 2021. It will come as a successor to the X60 series which was released earlier this year. The X70 will be a flagship series that is rumored to include 3 devices – Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+. The company will also bring “t” models such as Vivo X70t, X70t Pro, and X70t Pro+. We’ve been hearing about the phones for the last couple of weeks. Today, popular tipster @OnLeaks shared renders of the Vivo X70 and X70 Pro via MySmartPrice and 91Mobiles.
Vivo X70 Pro Design and Specifications
According to the CAD renders shared by OnLeaks, Vivo X70 Pro will feature a ZEISS-branded rectangular camera block on the back housing 4 camera sensors along with a triple LED flash. It has a curved display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is curved on the sides.Â
Vivo X70 Pro renders reveal that the phone has a USB Type-C port, a microphone, a sim-tray, and a speaker grille at the bottom. The right portion of the phone has a power button and volume buttons. It appears to have a secondary microphone at the top. The renders show the phone in Blue color, however, there will be more color options too.
According to the tipster, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch display with curved edges. It is said to measure 160.4 x 75.5 x 7.7mm and 10mm thickness when the camera bump is taken into the measurement.
Past reports reveal that Vivo X70 Pro could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The phone is likely to be offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. It could be having an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 support, NFC, and fast charging support.
Vivo X70 Design and Specifications
According to the CAD renders, Vivo X70 resembles the X70 Pro, but there are some notable changes. The vanilla X70 has three camera sensors developed in partnership with ZEISS. It also has a centered punch hole-style selfie camera, but the display is flat. However, the Pro model could offer a curved panel.
The ports and buttons placement on Vivo X70 is the same as in the X70 Pro. The company will be available in more color options, in addition to the Blue-Green gradient as shown in renders. Tipster OnLeaks reveals that the phone has a 6.5-inch flat display with a fingerprint scanner embedded in it. It reportedly measures 158.5 x 73.4 x 8mm and the thickness reaches 10.6mm when the camera bump is included.
