One UI 8.5 rollout timeline: Here’s what we know so far
The stable version of One UI 8.5 is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series, which is set for a launch in late February, with sales beginning in early March. Shortly after, the rollout to older devices will commence.
Reports suggest the wider stable rollout could begin by the end of April. The first devices to receive the update will likely be the previous-generation flagships, such as the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Following that, the update will gradually expand to other high-end models, with mid-range and budget devices receiving it in the subsequent weeks and months.
It’s important to note that the One UI 8.5 beta program remains exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series, and there are no indications it will expand to other devices. For most users, the first taste of One UI 8.5 will be the stable version.
We will provide a detailed breakdown of all the new features as soon as the stable build is released. Stay tuned for more updates on the One UI 8.5 rollout schedule.
