Earlier this month, Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update to the Mi 11X and Poco F3 users. After installing the update, multiple users were reportedly facing a bunch of issues like random booting, heating issues, and more. Xiaomi has acknowledged the random rebooting issue on Poco F3 and promised a fix that will be rolled out via OTA update from September 15. Ahead of the schedule, a new MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update is rolling out to Xiaomi Mi 11X and Poco F3 that seems to have fixed the random rebooting issue as well as a couple of other issues.
The new software update for Xiaomi Mi 11X is rolling out in India with firmware version V12.5.4.0.RKHINXM. On the other hand, the new OTA update for Poco F3 is currently rolling out to the global variant with the firmware version V12.5.4.0.RKHMIXM. We can expect the new OTA update to reach all the remaining regions in the coming days.
Poco F3 was rebranded as Xiaomi Mi 11X for the Indian market. So, both the devices are the same, and the changelog for the new update is nothing different. As mentioned in the changelog, the update brings MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition features such as Focused Algorithm, Atomized Memory, and Liquid Storage. It fixes the crashing issue when face and fingerprint options were used simultaneously. Permission issue after the missed calls is also getting a fix.
