Redmi Note 9 to launch in India soon, company confirms
Through a tweet, Company has confirmed that Redmi Note 9 is coming soon to India. It is going to be the third smartphone in Note 9 series after Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max.
The tweet does not mention the date or month for the launch, but reports suggest that it will launch in third week of July. Since the Redmi Note 9 has already made it’s global debut in May, hence we know the exact specifications.
Redmi Note 9 specifications
The phone comes with a 6.53-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and 450nits brightness. The display features 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Gorilla glass 5 on the front. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with ARM G52 MC2 GPU. The global version comes in two storage variants : 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. You can expand the storage using a microSD slot.
The phone features quad camera setup on the back side with 48MP main camera. Other three includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Front side gets a 13MP selfie shooter with features like movie frame, HDR, AI portrait.
The handset packs 5020mAh battery charges through a 22.5W fast charger and also supports 9W reverse charging. The fingerprint scanner is located just below the camera module on rear side. Connectivity features are – Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, IR Blaster, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
