We have been hearing about Xiaomi’s 120W fast charger for a while. Now, it has been spotted on the Chinese 3C certifications website which suggests that the product development is completed. The certification also hints that the launch is not too far.
The listing does not reveal anything other than the model number MDY-12-ED and 20V/6A equivalent to 120W. It is expected that Xiaomi will make this 120W charger commercially available by the end of this year. Since the charger has received the certification, therefore we can expect the official announcement soon.
The first Xiaomi device to come with the 120W charger is currently unknown. Xiaomi future Mi Mix lineup or a new Mi flagship series is supposed to come with this 120W fast charger.
