Galaxy A34 5G One UI 6.1 Update Progress

[May 16, 2024]: Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy A34 5G users in Europe. It comes with the firmware version A346BXXU6CXD5 and a download size of around 2GB.

[May 13, 2024]: One UI 6.1 is rolling out to the Galaxy A34 5G. The update has arrived much sooner than expected. Currently, it’s available in Korea, but we hope to see it expanding to more regions in the coming days.

The latest One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A34 5G has the firmware version A346NKSU5CXD5 and has a download size of around 2.2GB. As expected, it doesn’t include any of the Galaxy AI features.

[February 21, 2024]: Samsung has announced that One UI 6.1 will start rolling out in late March 2024. Sadly, this rollout timeline is for devices that are eligible for Galaxy AI, which includes the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung didn’t announce when the next One UI upgrade will be available for older devices that won’t get Galaxy AI, such as Galaxy A34 5G.

[February 8, 2024]: The first February One UI 6.1 build for the Galaxy A34 5G has been spotted on the test server. It can be identified by the firmware version A346BXXU5CXB2.

Multiple tests suggest that Samsung is indeed gearing up to bring One UI 6.1 to this device in the near future.

[January 18, 2024]: Samsung has revealed that Galaxy AI features will only come to high-end phones, including the S23 series, S23 FE, Flip 5, Fold 5, and Tab S9 series.

So, the Galaxy A34 5G won’t get AI features, it will surely get the One UI 6.1 update in the coming months.

[January 17, 2024]: During the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event today, Samsung announced that Galaxy AI features are coming to select premium devices, but they didn’t reveal device names. Those AI features will come with One UI 6.1 update.

[January 11, 2024]: Good news! Samsung is internally testing One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy A34 5G. It means that after the One UI 6.1 rollout is done for high-end phones, Galaxy A34 5G probably won’t have to wait much to get its One UI 6.1 treat.
