More Galaxy A14 5G Users Get Android 14 One UI 6 Update in the US

T-Mobile Galaxy A14 5G users have just started getting the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in the US. The update brings plenty of improvements and new features (more on that later in this post).

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is already receiving the One UI 6 update on many carriers, including Verizon, and now T-Mobile has brought the treat to its users. It’s tagged with the firmware version A146USQU5CXA1 and has a download size of 1868MB.

Samsung’s One UI 6.0 skin, based on Android 14, brings a redesigned Quick Panel layout split into multiple sections that look better. There are more lock screen customizations, more widgets, and an improved media player with waveform animations.

The latest One UI version also brings an improved Gallery app with more photo editing tools. There’s a new Auto Blocker feature in the Settings app for blocking threats and other suspicious activities. Besides these One UI goodies, the software package includes the December 2024 security patch to improve device security.

If you have a locked Galaxy A14 5G in the US and are still waiting for an update notification, I recommend checking it manually. Go to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install. Ensure that your device has over 40% battery before installing the update.
