The January 2024 security update is expanding to more Galaxy A-series phones. The latest recipients are Galaxy A24 and Galaxy A25. The update aims to improve device security by fixing dozens of vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.
The latest update for Galaxy A25 is currently rolling out in Central American countries and should expand to more regions in the coming days. It comes with the firmware version A256EXXS1AXA6 and has a download size of 248MB.
Samsung Galaxy A24, on the other hand, is also getting the January security patch with the firmware version A245MUBS3BXA1. It has a download size of around 240MB.

The January 2024 security patch for Samsung Galaxy devices resolves over 70 vulnerabilities found in the previous software version. It includes 5 One UI vulnerability patches related to notification service, Samsung DeX, MyFiles, and Bluetooth.
