Infinix has announced a new budget smartphone for the Indian market with an impressive battery backup and a large display with 90Hz refresh rate support. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This Infinix phone starts at Rs 6,299, and there are exciting card offers too.

This Infinix phone is none other than the Infinix Smart 8 HD. Interestingly, the device has a “Magic Ring” feature, similar to Dynamic Island on iPhones. It’s a fun and exciting feature.

The device comes in four colour options: Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White. As for the pricing, the Infinix phone only comes in a 3GB + 32GB variant with a price tag of Rs 6,299. You can get a handsome 10% instant discount using Axis Bank, PNB, and Bank of Baroda cards.

Infinix Smart 8 HD


The smartphone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display, offering a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 500nits of peak brightness. You could benefit from the large display for content consumption.

The Infinix Smart 8 HD has slim bezels all around and a small circular cutout at the top for the selfie camera.


Infinix Smart 8 HD boasts a big camera setup on the back, although it only has two camera sensors. The primary one is a 13MP sensor, paired with an AI sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP sensor inside the punch-hole cutout.


The smartphone is powered by a UniSOC T606 chipset that has the Mali G57 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot to expand the storage to 2TB.
