OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, 9RT Get January 2024 OxygenOS Update

January 2024 security update is already available to many OnePlus phones, and now it’s rolling out the popular OnePlus 9 series (including the 9RT). It brings the latest security patch and a bundle of improvements you can read below.

OnePlus 9 and 9RT are getting the January 2024 security patch with the software version OxygenOS, which is also rolling out to the OnePlus 9 Pro with OxygenOS update. The update is tagged with the following build versions:

  • OnePlus 9: LE2111_14.0.0.212
  • OnePlus 9 Pro: LE2111_14.0.0.202
  • OnePlus 9RT: MT2111_14.0.0.212

The latest OxygenOS update for OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9RT is currently rolling out in India, with more regions to follow soon.

Apart from the January security patch, the OnePlus phones are getting improvements to the battery life, mobile network connections, and Wi-Fi connections. The brand has also improved the camera stability, device stability, and performance with the latest update. Notably, the update resolves issues with swipe-up gestures, and the Smart sidebar feature is removed.

As usual, the latest OxygenOS update is rolling out in batches, so it may take a few days before it reaches all the units. If you haven’t upgraded your OnePlus 9, 9 Pro or 9RT to OxygenOS, go to Settings > About > Software Update > Check for Update to grab the latest update.
