The One UI 6.0, based on Android 14, brings lots of cool features and improvements. For instance, the Quick Settings panel is getting a new look. The lock screen is getting more customizable with new options, and the notifications now look better.

Samsung Galaxy M33 is eligible for Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.

But it could be the last major Android update.

Sadly, Galaxy M33 is not in either the 3-year OS update list or 4-year OS update list. Hence, Android 14 seems to be the final major Android update for the device.

[December 12, 2023]: The Galaxy M33 users in India can now upgrade their devices to Android 14. The update is rolling out in the country with the firmware version M336BUXXU5DWK6 and has a download size of around 2.2GB. It also brings the November 2023 security patch.

[December 6, 2023]: Samsung Galaxy M33 users rejoice! The company has started rolling out the stable Android 14 update with One UI 6.0. Currently, the update is available in Russia and Ukraine, but it shouldn’t take more than a few days to expand to other markets, including India.

Android 14 is the second and probably the last major OS update for the Galaxy M33. In addition to new features and improvements, the latest build also packs the November 2023 security patch.

[November 22, 2023]: We have a One UI 6.0 rollout estimate for German users. According to it, the Galaxy M33 should receive the stable Android 14 update in December 2023.

Remember that this is just a rollout estimate. The actual rollout depends on software stability and bugs.

[August 18, 2023]: Google was expected to release the stable Android 14 this month, but it seems we have to wait a little more as another beta rolls out to Pixel devices – Android 14 beta 5.1.

[August 10, 2023]: Another beta update is rolling out. It’s called Android 14 beta 5. As you might have expected, the beta update brings improvements and bug fixes. There are new features as well, which you might want to play with if you’re a beta tester.

[July 27, 2023]: It’s time for Android 14 beta 4.1. It brings lots of bug fixing. The update will be available for Pixel 4a or later, running the beta version of Android 14.

[July 11, 2023]: Google has now released Android 14 beta 4. It is slowly rolling out to the beta testers. In addition to bug fixes and improvements, the beta 4 brings several new features.

[June 14, 2023]: Android 14 beta 3.1 is now live to fix known bugs, including issues with fingerprint unlocking. The latest patch also includes the June 2023 security patch. Those already enrolled in the beta program can update to the latest build.

[June 7, 2023]: Google has released Android 14 beta 3. It’s the first release to Platform Stability. It means that developers could start working on finalizing their apps for release.

[May 25, 2023]: Android 14 beta 2.1 is now available for Google Pixel devices. It includes bug fixes and improvements. If your device is running the Android 14 beta 2, update to beta 2.1 for fewer bugs and a better overall experience.
