Samsung has updated its list of devices eligible for monthly, quarterly, and biannual security updates .
Several new devices, including the S24 phones and Galaxy Tab Active 5 have been added to the list. But Samsung has also cut-off complete software update support for few Galaxy devices. Meaning, these devices will not get any updates, sadly.

Both 4G and 5G models of the phone were on a biannual update schedule till month, but from this month, only the 5G model will receive updates biannualy. No new updates for Galaxy A51 4G from here on.
The company has also removed software support for the Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S6 5G. The device was getting biannual updates till last month, but from now on, no updates will be released, unless there are any fatal vulnerabilities in the operating system that needs to be fixed.
The budget-friendly Galaxy A01 has also reached its end of software support. If you carry this device, don’t expect any One UI updates or new security patches.
