Xiaomi 12 Lite HyperOS Update Expands to More Regions

Last week, Xiaomi released the HyperOS update for Xiaomi 12 Lite, but it was only limited to the global variant of the device. The Chinese brand is now expanding the update to more regions. Now, the HyperOS update is also available for Xiaomi 12 Lite users in Indonesia.

Xiaomi 12 Lite users in Indonesia are getting this huge upgrade with the version HyperOS Currently, it’s rolling to beta users. However, it should not take more than a couple of days to reach the non-beta users, assuming that no critical bugs are found.

HyperOS is a major update for Xiaomi, and thus, users must download a heavy software package that weighs around 5.2GB. We recommend connecting your Xiaomi device to a Wi-Fi network to download such large updates.

How to Install HyperOS on Redmi 12 Lite

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to the About Phone section.
  3. Tap on the MIUI version at the top.
  4. Click Check for Updates.

Currently, the update is available to beta users in Indonesia. It should be available to other users in the coming days. So, keep checking for updates, if you haven’t received it already.
