Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite (SM-T736B) gets FCC certified ahead of the launch

Samsung is gearing up to launch Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. Today, we spotted the tablet on FCC certification with model number SM-T736B. It was earlier rumored to launch as Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Lite but the Bluetooth SIG certification reveals the official name which is Galaxy Tab S8 XL Lite. Getting multiple certifications hints that the launch is not too far from here.

FCC certification does not reveal many details but it confirms that Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite supports 5G connectivity and Bluetooth BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. Bluetooth SIG certification reveals that there could be multiple variants of the tablet, possibly 4G, 5G, and Wi-Fi variants.

There are not many specs out but thanks to the Geekbench and 3C listing which reveals some key specs of the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite. The Geekbench listing reveals that it has Snapdragon 750G chipset, 4GB RAM, and Android 11 OS. The 3C Certifications revealed that the tablet supports 44W of fast charging.

The support page of Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite (SM-T736B) has also gone live on Samsung’s official website which hints at an imminent launch. We can expect the brand to announce the launch details in the coming weeks.
